Voter ID Verification

Introduction

The Voter ID Verification API allows you to verify Indian citizens' voter IDs. With this API, you can verify the authenticity of voter ID details using an EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) number. It also tells if the name provided in the request packet matches that in the Voter ID or not. For match cases, verification is true, else false.

Response body parameters

Parameter	Data type	Description
result	Object	Contains the response for the input voter id number.
result.verification	Boolean	Possible values are true or false.
result.message	String	In case the name in the request matches with name in the Voter ID, then the message would be "Verification completed with positive result" else "Verification completed with negative result". The name-match logic is fuzzy.
