Udyam Registration Number

The government issues a unique 19-digit Udyam Registration Number to each Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) upon successful online registration through the Udyam Registration Portal, formerly known as Udyog Aadhar. This number serves as an essential identifier for MSMEs, enabling them to access various government benefits and support programs designed for businesses within this category. Acquiring the Udyam Registration Number is mandatory for all enterprises that fall under the MSME classification.

What does Udyam registration mean & signify?

Udyam registration refers to an online procedure comprising several steps aimed at obtaining a distinct identification number for enterprises falling into the micro, small, or medium categories. Upon successful registration, businesses gain access to a multitude of government-provided benefits via the Udyam registration portal.

How does this API work:

signzy.app/api/v3/PhoneOrPanToUdyamDetails: This endpoint would either take a phone number linked to udyam enterprise and give the details of all the udyams and the owner name of the udyam holder in an array. This allows the user to find the udyam number and associated owner name for the given phone number.

Output

The API follows a two-step process to find the udyam and udyam details. It first tries to find the udyam number from the given phone. Then, it tries to find the details of the udyam number. In cases where udyam details are not fetched, partial data is sent in the response.

Error Codes

409	Upstream Error	Error in fetching data from upstream
500	Internal Server Error	Something is broken. This is usually a temporary error, for example in a high-load situation.or if an endpoint is temporarily having issues. Try again later.
