NRE - Check API

Introduction

The NRE Check API helps financial institutions, fintech platforms, and remittance providers identify whether a beneficiary bank account is an NRE (Non-Resident External) account.

The API enables businesses to make informed decisions during payouts, collections, account onboarding, and compliance workflows where account residency classification is important. By identifying NRE accounts in real time, organizations can apply the appropriate taxation, remittance, and regulatory handling logic as per their internal policies and RBI/FEMA compliance requirements.

result.isNre	String	The status of the transactioIndicates whether the bank account is an NRE (Non-Resident External) account. true means the account is identified as an NRE account.
result.accountType	String	Returns the detected account type. In this case, the value NRE confirms that the account belongs to the NRE category.
result.message	String	Human-readable response message describing the account classification result.
