MMV for multi insurer master

Introduction

This API is specifically designed to provide Multi-Insurer MMV Mapping, retrieving variant data across all of your insurance partners' master files in a single API request. By simply inputting the vehicle's registration number, the API instantly fetches and maps the vehicle's make, model, variant, fuel type, and cubic capacity, cross-referencing these details against multiple masters simultaneously rather than querying each insurer's system individually. Each entry in these master files (comprising the specific make, model, variant, cubic capacity, and fuel type) is associated with a unique ID. This unique ID is returned in the API mappings, along with a match score to indicate the accuracy of the result.

This functionality is highly useful for insurance aggregators who typically collaborate with multiple insurance partners. Each insurer maintains their own distinct master mapping file; while they all categorize vehicles using similar core components, the specific unique IDs (variant IDs) they use to determine insurance premiums and pricing vary significantly from one partner to another. This API effortlessly bridges that gap.

Along with these mappings, this API also returns all the vehicle details that are typically received in the standard Vehicle Detailed Search API.

Additional Mappings

The API also provides additional mappings - such as insurer mapping, financer mapping, and RTO location mapping - along with the default MMV mappings.

How to Receive the Mappings ?

To retrieve these mappings, you must pass a signzyID in your API request. This unique ID is created and provided to you by the Signzy team to fetch mappings specific to your configured master files.

You will be provided access to our MMV Dashboard, which allows you to easily configure your master files at your convenience. The dashboard includes comprehensive step-by-step instructions, as well as sample input files, to guide you through the configuration process.
