UAE Bank Statement OCR API (Individual)

Introduction

The UAE Bank Statement (Individual) Extraction API automatically extracts key identity and financial information from individual bank statements submitted by users. Using OCR and document intelligence techniques, the API identifies account identity, opening/closing balances, salary inflows, and risk signals such as existing loan commitments and related-party transactions, converting unstructured statement data into a structured JSON response.

This API helps organizations digitize customer onboarding, verify income, and enable faster KYC, underwriting, and credit-risk workflows.

account_identity	statement_period	string	Date range covered by the statement. Format: DD-MM-YYYY To DD-MM-YYYY.
financial_high_levels	opening_and_closing_balances	string	Opening and closing balances for the statement period. Example: Opening: 925,602.92 AED \| Closing: 825,967.11 AED.
financial_high_levels	total_deposits_and_withdrawals	string	Aggregated total deposits and withdrawals for the period. Returns null if not available.
income_verification	regular_salary_inflows	string	Recurring salary / income credits identified in the statement. Returns null if none are detected.
risk_and_cross_financing	existing_commitments	string	Existing loan / credit commitments, as a semicolon- or comma-separated list of lender: reference (amount monthly) entries.
risk_and_cross_financing	related_party_transactions	string	Transfers to/from related parties. Lists inbound and outbound counterparties, separated by \|.
