MMV Multi Insurer V2 API

Introduction

The MMV Multi Insurer V2 API is designed to retrieve mappings across multiple master files based on a combination of the vehicle's make, model, fuel type, and cubic capacity. By inputting these parameters, users can receive variant IDs from all configured insurance masters simultaneously in just one API call. This functionality is particularly useful for insurance aggregators who need to efficiently cross-reference vehicle data across various insurance partners without making multiple requests.

Within these master files, each distinct vehicle entry (comprising the make, model, variant, cubic capacity, and fuel type) is assigned a unique variant ID. When a match is found, the API returns this unique ID in the mappings, along with a matchScore indicating the confidence of the match. Furthermore, the response returns the specific data points matched from the master file, including the make, model, variant, fuelType, cubicCapacity, grossVehicleWeight, and seatingCapacity.

Additional Mappings

The API also provides additional mappings - such as insurer mapping, financer mapping, and RTO location mapping - along with the default MMV mappings.

How to Receive the Mappings ?

To retrieve these mappings, you must pass a signzyID in your API request. This unique ID is created and provided to you by the Signzy team to fetch mappings specific to your configured master files.

You will be provided access to our MMV Dashboard, which allows you to easily configure your master files at your convenience. The dashboard includes comprehensive step-by-step instructions, as well as sample input files, to guide you through the configuration process.

rtoCode	Optional	The standard code for the Regional Transport Office (RTO) where the vehicle is registered.
