MMV Master Mapping API

Overview

MMV master mapping API, is designed to provide vehicle variant IDs based on a combination of manufacturer name, model name (which includes both the model and its variant), fuel type, and cubic capacity. By inputting the parameters, users can retrieve specific variant IDs that match their vehicle details. This functionality is particularly useful for automotive industry clients who need to maintain accuracy and continuity in vehicle-related operations, even during downtime of primary data services.

The API consist of one main endpoint

api/v3/mmv-master-mapping : The API takes manufacturer name, fuel type, model, cubic capacity as the primary inputs for retriving the mmv IDs, when RTO Codes and vehicle Insurance company is provided, it give rto and insurer mapping for the vehicle

Full Field Name	Description
mmvVariantMapping.variantId	A unique identifier assigned to the vehicle variant.
mmvVariantMapping.make	The manufacturer or brand of the vehicle.
mmvVariantMapping.fuelType	The type of fuel that the vehicle uses, such as Diesel or Petrol.
mmvVariantMapping.model	The model name of the vehicle.
mmvVariantMapping.variant	A specific version or configuration of the model.
mmvVariantMapping.cubicCapacity	The engine capacity of the vehicle measured in cubic centimeters.
mmvVariantMapping.matchScore	A numeric value (ranging from 0 to 1) indicating the match accuracy.
rtoLocationMapping.rtoCode	The code assigned to the Regional Transport Office.
rtoLocationMapping.city	The city where the RTO is located.
insurerMapping.code	A unique code representing the insurance company.
insurerMapping.score	A numeric score indicating the relevance or match level.

404	Vehicle data not found	The data for the given number was not found in our database
400	Invalid Vehicle Number	The vehicle number provided in the input parameters was incorrect
409	Upstream Error	Error in fetching data from upstream
