Ejari OCR extraction API

Introduction

The Ejari Extraction API is designed to automatically extract key information from Ejari (Dubai tenancy contract registration) documents submitted by users. Using OCR and document intelligence techniques, the API identifies and captures relevant fields from the Ejari certificate, converting unstructured document data into a structured JSON response.

This API helps organizations digitize tenancy contract processing, reduce manual data entry, improve operational efficiency, and enable faster verification and underwriting workflows.

contract_number	string	Ejari contract registration number, including version suffix if present. Example: 0120240129001664 (v. 2).
registration_date	string (date)	Date the contract was registered with Ejari. Format: DD-MM-YYYY.
actual_annual_rent_amount	string	Actual annual rent amount as stated on the contract, including currency. Example: 495,497.00 AED.
security_deposit	string	Security deposit amount as stated on the contract, including currency. Example: 46,000.00 AED.
lease_start_date	string (date)	Start date of the lease term. Format: DD-MM-YYYY.
lease_end_date	string (date)	End date of the lease term. Format: DD-MM-YYYY.
owner_name	string	Name of the property owner as mentioned on the contract.
lessor_name	string	Name of the lessor (landlord/managing entity) as mentioned on the contract.
tenant_name	string	Name of the tenant as mentioned on the contract.
property_usage_subtype	string	Property usage and subtype. Example: Commercial / Office, Residential / Apartment.
size_area	string	Property size/area, including unit. Example: 383.62 Sq.m.
building_and_location	string	Building name and location/area of the property. Example: The Bay Gate Tower, Business Bay.
