eStamping Process
Welcome to the world of e-Stamping, a hassle-free and convenient way to fulfill your stamp duty requirements. In this document, we will guide you through the process of acquiring e-stamps, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction. With the advent of technology, traditional stamp paper is being replaced by electronic stamps, making legal documentation more secure, traceable, and easily accessible.
The e-Stamping process simplifies the procurement of stamps by offering an online platform for individuals and organizations to obtain the required stamps without any physical paperwork. By following a few simple steps, you can easily complete your stamp duty payment and receive the e-stamps in your virtual wallet.
Step 1: Pre-payment
To initiate the e-Stamping process, you are required to make a pre-payment for the desired number and denomination of stamps. For example, if you need ten stamps worth INR 100 each, a payment of INR 1000 would be necessary. This upfront payment ensures a smooth and efficient procurement process.
Step 2: Providing Information
Once the pre-payment is made, you will need to provide specific information to complete the stamping process. Your assigned CSM from Signzy's team will help you. Our CSM would collect this information from you and your team. This information includes:

In order to find the exact article code, one needs to check the corresponding stateCode and then look into the name column to identify the type of transaction for which one needs to generate an estamp.
Step 3: Procurement & e-Stamp Allocation
After receiving the required information and payment from you, we will initiate the procurement of e-stamps. We shall procure the stamps within 5 working days. Our team will ensure that the stamps are acquired accurately and efficiently, minimizing any delays or inconvenience.
Once the procurement process is complete, the e-stamps will be allocated to your virtual wallet. This virtual wallet provides a secure storage space for your e-stamps, ensuring easy accessibility and utilization. You can check the wallet balance of your virtual wallet using API.
Step 4: Utilizing the e-Stamp APIs
Upon receiving the allocated e-stamps, you can leverage the following Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to integrate the e-stamping process seamlessly into your workflow:

- Get e-Stamp Status API: By using this API, you can retrieve the current status of your e-stamps, ensuring real-time tracking and monitoring.
