US DL Verification API
Introduction
Signzy's driving license verification API instantly verifies the details of the person by providing the driver's license number, last name, date of birth, and state. The driver's license is one of the key identities which can be used for individual verification in any customer onboarding journey.
How to use the API
You will require an authorization token to use this API. This authorization token will be generated by Signzy for you and will be used in each API call. Please contact [email protected] for this.
API Input Guidelines
You will need to pass on the following information to start the verification process.
- Driver's license number
- Last name
- Date of birth in YYYY-DD-MM format
- State

API Output
The response from this API contains the status of your request, the confidence score for this result, and also the final result of the verification process. The "hasErrors" field shows whether the data verification was successful or not.

The verification process cannot be done for the following US States -
- Alaska
- Louisiana
- Minnesota
- New Hampshire
- Nevada
- New York
- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- Utah
