Introduction

This service is used to fetch PAN details like PAN holder name, PAN number, Type of holder, whether PAN is valid or not, Whether it is linked to aadhaar or not etc. of an Individual/ Firm/ Company/ HUF / BOI or any type of person as per Income tax act 1961.

Definition of Persons under Income Tax Act, 1961

In terms of section 2 (31) of the Income-tax Act a person includes:

Individuals
Partnership Firms
HUF
Company
An individual organization or body of persons whether incorporated or not.
Local authorities
Any other legal person who is not subject to any of the above clauses

How to call the API

You must first login before sending the request. The authorization header in the request must include the access token obtained from the login API call.
