Introduction

An Importer -Exporter Code (IEC) is a key business identification number which mandatory for export from India or Import to India. No export or import shall be made by any person without obtaining an IEC unless specifically exempted. For services exports however, IEC shall be not be necessary except when the service provider is taking benefits under the Foreign Trade Policy.

How to call the API

You must first login before sending the request. The authorization header in the request must include the access token obtained from the login API call along with iecCode.

result.phone	The phone number information for the organization is displayed here.
result.email	The email ID of the member organization.

result.directors.number	The serial number assigned to the director is displayed here.

result.rcmc	RCMC (REGISTRATION-CUM-MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE) is a certificate that validates an exporter dealing with products registered with an agency/ organization that are authorised by the Indian Government.
