UAE VAT Extraction API

Overview & Purpose

Businesses operating in the UAE must obtain a VAT Registration Certificate issued by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). The certificate contains key compliance information such as the TRN, legal name, registration date, and tax period cycles.

The VAT Certificate Extraction API provides an automated, standardized, multi-emirate extraction layer that accepts a file link and outputs a single unified extraction payload, regardless of the issuing emirate (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and others).

API Input

The API expects the following input in the request payload:

fileLink	String	URL of the VAT Document for which the extraction has to be done

Note: The fileLink must be a valid and accessible PDF download URL. The file size must not exceed 20 MB. The document must contain a maximum of 20 pages. Files in formats other than PDF are not supported.
