Overview:

The Nigeria KYB : TIN Fetch API enables businesses to retrieve a company's Tax Identification Number (TIN) in real time using its Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration number (RC/BN number) and company type.

By connecting to authoritative business and tax data sources, the API simplifies the process of retrieving verified tax identity information without requiring businesses or customers to provide the TIN upfront. This helps streamline KYB, business onboarding, compliance, and tax-related verification workflows while reducing manual data collection and validation efforts.

Request Body Parameters

rcNumber	string	Yes	The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration number of the Nigerian business / company. This number is used to identify the registered entity and fetch its TIN details. Digits only. Min 4 digits, max 8 digits.
companyType	string	Yes	The type of entity registered with the Nigerian CAC, such as a company, business name, incorporated trustee, or partnership. This helps identify the correct entity type when fetching the TIN. Allowed enum: BUSINESS_NAME, COMPANY, INCORPORATED_TRUSTEES, LIMITED_PARTNERSHIP, LIMITED_LIABILITY_PARTNERSHIP .
